The corner led Uleåsalö's Kauko Pynnönen to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonni Nitti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ömer Toprak hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, Uleåsalö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taneli Roihuvuori to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Vili Piekkanen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Uleåsalö's Atro Kiviharju. Atro Kiviharju was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saku Paaso in the 13th minute of play forced Uleåsalö's goalkeeper Atro Kiviharju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Uleåsalö defense, Vili Piekkanen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atro Kiviharju. The Uleåsalö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atro Kiviharju should have stopped the shot. After 16 minutes, Taneli Roihuvuori mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uleåsalö and the Huuhmarisvaara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Saku Paaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atro Kiviharju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vili Piekkanen in the 21st minute of play. If Vili Piekkanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uleåsalö's Atro Kiviharju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saku Paaso in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saku Paaso in the 28th minute of play forced Uleåsalö's goalkeeper Atro Kiviharju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saku Paaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Saku Paaso might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atro Kiviharju. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saku Paaso ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the game, one of Huuhmarisvaara FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonni Nitti had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Kauko Pynnönen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Atro Kiviharju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vili Piekkanen in the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atso Meltoranta got free with Jonni Nitti in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atro Kiviharju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vili Piekkanen in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Huuhmarisvaara FC's Ylermi Lätti got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Vili Piekkanen made the kick off in the second half. Atro Kiviharju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antero Hietamäki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vili Piekkanen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atro Kiviharju read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Ömer Toprak's late challenge caught a Huuhmarisvaara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ömer Toprak helped the player get up and apologised. Ömer Toprak hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Huuhmarisvaara FC's Samuel Vapaniemi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Uleåsalö. Vili Piekkanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Atro Kiviharju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antero Hietamäkis short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Atro Kiviharju to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vili Piekkanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Kiviharju having to interfere. Jonni Nitti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anxelu Bermudez in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Atso Meltoranta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Ömer Toprak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atro Kiviharju came out of the goal and Samuel Vapaniemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Huuhmarisvaara FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
