Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tarek Bahaa kicked off to start the match. After 14 played minutes Zamalek SC got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Hakeem. Tarek Bahaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Ebaba booed when Zamalek SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamel Hakeem didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Kamel Hakeem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zamalek SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ebaba the free kick. In the 25th minute, Kamel Hakeem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hassan Fareed fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ebaba's protests and gave Hassan Fareed a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shaker Hamdy in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezz Mounir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Zamalek SC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Zamalek SC's Ezz Khalil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ebaba booed when Zamalek SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamel Hakeem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zamalek SC's Tarek Burhan got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tarek Bahaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaa Yasser having to interfere. When Ezz Khalil was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Zamalek SC's Ezz Khalil got a free kick in the 47th minute.

52 minutes into the match, Tarek Bahaa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alaa Yasser. Zamalek SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tarek Bahaa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Haitham Mortada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alaa Yasser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Alaa Yasser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarek Bahaa in the 56th minute of play. Hamada El-Khateeb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarek Bahaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaa Yasser having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Tarek Bahaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haitham Mortada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Tarek Bahaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaa Yasser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Zamalek SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarek Burhan to maneuver through the defense. If Hamada El-Khateeb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarek Bahaa during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Ebaba got a freekick which was hit by Tarek Bahaa. Alaa Yasser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarek Bahaa in the 89th minute of the match. When Ebaba's Tarek Bahaa in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zamalek SC's goalie prevented a goal. Zamalek SC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ebaba had controlled the match.
