Spectators: 8600 (Terracing: 6500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Shaker Hamdy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Zamalek SC's Ezz Khalil got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Gamal Refaat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaa Yasser having to interfere. Aino Tawfeek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaafar Nayef in the 8th minute of play. Aino Tawfeek came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Zamalek SC's Ezz Khalil. But to his dismay, Ezz Khalil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gamal Refaat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Alaa Yasser made a huge save. In the 25thth minute of the game Shaker Hamdy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Power Corruption and Lies's Aino Tawfeek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezz Khalil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aino Tawfeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Shaker Hamdy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aino Tawfeek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezz Khalil in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aino Tawfeek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aino Tawfeek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezz Khalil, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Deyab Refaat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Power Corruption and Lies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deyab Refaat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Zamalek SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gamal Refaat made the kick off in the second half. Gamal Refaat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaa Yasser having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zamalek SC's Ezz Khalil got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gaafar Nayef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aino Tawfeek having to interfere. Yassine Kamal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alaa Yasser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Ezz Khalil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Zamalek SC booed when Power Corruption and Lies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammed Maher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alaa Yasser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gamal Refaat in the 85th minute of play. Ezz Khalil's late challenge caught a Power Corruption and Lies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezz Khalil helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zamalek SC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ezz Khalil hit a great ball. Alaa Yasser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deyab Refaat in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zamalek SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
