The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kalju Ots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Mara, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Marja in the 26th minute of play forced AS MILAN's goalkeeper Kalju Ots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toomas Leks during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, AS MILAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toomas Leks to maneuver through the defense. When Imre Härm came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kayza FC fans jumped to their feet. AS MILAN's Kalju Ots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Mara in the 38th minute of play. Guido Marja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalju Ots having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Heiko Hirv made the kick off in the second half. Heiko Hirv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. When Janari Liiva fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
