The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaanus Lipping during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, FC BEAST was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaanus Lipping to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Karl Vaht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maarek Ruusmaa scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eikki Kurg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vahur Laik's late challenge caught a UpsTeam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahur Laik helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes FC BEAST got a freekick which was hit by Vahur Laik. Veiko Valu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eikki Kurg having to interfere. Risto Kinkar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahur Laik in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, UpsTeam's goalkeeper Risto Kinkar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antti Nõmm. Maarek Ruusmaa's late challenge caught a FC BEAST's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maarek Ruusmaa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UpsTeam getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Maarek Ruusmaa hit a great ball. Ervin Eesik hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Vahur Laik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Risto Kinkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Veiko Valu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UpsTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veiko Valu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Veiko Valu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Vaht in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eikki Kurg saved FC BEAST from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Veiko Valu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC BEAST's Eikki Kurg. Eikki Kurg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half UpsTeam were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vahur Laik made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Jaanus Lipping had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Risto Kinkar. UpsTeam's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaanus Lipping was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some careless play in the UpsTeam defense, Jaanus Lipping kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Risto Kinkar. The UpsTeam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Risto Kinkar should have stopped the shot. When Karl Vaht came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the UpsTeam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Vaht couldn't finish the play. Eikki Kurg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Vaht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UpsTeam's Eedi Ridal got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC BEAST's Eikki Kurg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save FC BEAST from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Vaht in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eikki Kurg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahur Laik in the 91st minute of play forced UpsTeam's goalkeeper Risto Kinkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veiko Valu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eikki Kurg having to interfere. Eikki Kurg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarek Ruusmaa in the 94th minute of the match. When Karl Vaht came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the UpsTeam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Vaht couldn't finish the play.
