FC Sparta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lasnamägi CF the free kick. In the 8th match minute, FC Sparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olari Emapoeg to maneuver through the defense. Tanel Kena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laur Nikopensius having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Sparta's goalkeeper Laur Nikopensius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helger Volmer in the 20th minute of play forced Lasnamägi CF's goalkeeper Hannes Übi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anti Heinsalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lasnamägi CF's Valter Olt got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Olari Aav mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Sparta and the Lasnamägi CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lasnamägi CF booed when FC Sparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olari Aav didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lasnamägi CF's Hannes Übi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anti Heinsalu in the 32nd minute of play. If Helger Volmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lasnamägi CF's zone, Anti Heinsalu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Übi came out of the goal and Anti Heinsalu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Oinak hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Hannes Übi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anti Heinsalu in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Kaupo Rõõm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lasnamägi CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Sparta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lasnamägi CF's Kaupo Rõõm got a free kick in the 46th minute. FC Sparta's Anti Heinsalu got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Helger Volmer made the kick off in the second half. Lasnamägi CF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Helger Volmer 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Hannes Übi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Anti Heinsalu sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lasnamägi CF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Riho Väärtnõu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lasnamägi CF's zone, Anti Heinsalu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Übi came out of the goal and Anti Heinsalu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anti Heinsalu came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Sparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anti Heinsalu couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Lasnamägi CF's goalkeeper Hannes Übi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anti Heinsalu. Hannes Übi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helger Volmer in the 76th minute of the match. Anti Heinsalu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Übi having to interfere. A collision led to Lasnamägi CF getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Kaupo Rõõm hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Hannes Übi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Helger Volmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lasnamägi CF's Hannes Übi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Lasnamägi CF from getting a goal against them. If Olari Emapoeg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 95th minute, but Hannes Übi got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lasnamägi CF hanging dry this time. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Sparta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
