Spectators: 7549 (Terracing: 5663, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kalev Müürisepp started the match with the kick off. Valjamae's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rando Looga in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on Valjamae's corner Rando Looga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martti Kont quite easily take care of the ball. Joosep Laanemets made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Jüri Käärt sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 20 minutes, Kaido Noorsalu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valjamae's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaido Noorsalu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, Valjamae's Kalev Müürisepp made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martti Kont was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martti Kont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalev Müürisepp in the 25th minute of play. Jüri Käärt charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jüri Käärt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Karlova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jüri Käärt to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kalev Müürisepp in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martti Kont prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 played minutes Karlova got a freekick which was hit by Avo Valvik. A collision led to Valjamae getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rando Looga hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Karlova's zone, Kalev Müürisepp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martti Kont came out of the goal and Kalev Müürisepp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Lutter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Martti Kont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikk Nuiaots to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Kalev Müürisepp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valjamae's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kalev Müürisepp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Karlova's zone, Kalev Müürisepp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martti Kont came out of the goal and Kalev Müürisepp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valjamae's Kunnar Lubi was substituted for Tiit Virve. If Kalev Müürisepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalev Müürisepp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Martti Kont made a huge save. Kalev Müürisepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martti Kont having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Jüri Käärt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joosep Laanemets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalev Müürisepp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martti Kont read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Kaido Noorsalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalev Müürisepp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kalev Müürisepp succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 81st playminute. Rando Looga shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 89 minutes in the game, Kalev Müürisepp fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Martti Kont having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Jüri Käärt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valjamae's Joosep Laanemets was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Karlova fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valjamae were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
