The FC Darx fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when FC Darx's Ainar Nukki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th minute, FC Darx's Ainar Nukki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Valter Kivimäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Hiiob having to interfere. Jakob Hiiob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ainar Nukki in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Darx's Kris Neumann got a free kick in the 19th minute. 32 minutes into the game, SK Kura's Slawomir Grocholski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Priidik Niit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Darx's Ervin Rõõmussaar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jakob Hiiob. That made the score 3-1 after 39 minutes of play. A collision led to FC Darx getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edvin Taigur hit a great ball. Rudolf Veetamm was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

FC Darx made a substitution. Alo Kesa replaced Kris Neumann. The wind increased when Slawomir Grocholski made the kick off in the second half. Ervin Rõõmussaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olav Roht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Priidik Niit having to interfere. FC Darx made a substitution. Kuido Alekõrs replaced Ainar Nukki. In the 66th minute Ervin Rõõmussaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Hiiob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Kuido Alekõrs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, FC Darx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuido Alekõrs to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, SK Kura's goal looked a bit too open when Kuido Alekõrs came free, but Jakob Hiiob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ervin Rõõmussaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Hiiob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuido Alekõrs in the 77th minute of the match. Priidik Niit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Grocholski in the 78th minute of play. Jakob Hiiob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuido Alekõrs, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Ervin Rõõmussaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Hiiob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakob Hiiob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuido Alekõrs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Kuido Alekõrs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jakob Hiiob was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Kuido Alekõrs struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jakob Hiiob didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Darx. After a defensive mix-up in SK Kura's zone, Kuido Alekõrs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Hiiob came out of the goal and Kuido Alekõrs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SK Kura's Jakob Hiiob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juss Värk in the 96th minute of play. SK Kura's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
