The audience was convinced that Laur Ratassepp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaagup Heinaru was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Toomas Viilup who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Maido Tooma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27th minute Laur Ratassepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaagup Heinaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, FC Sergei Pareiko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Talvik to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Bernhard Raju managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Lahe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernhard Raju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maido Tooma was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Janek Aher capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Janek Aher really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jaagup Heinaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laur Ratassepp's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. SK Lahe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernhard Raju in the 46th minute. Kaspar Asmer thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jaagup Heinaru, a very annoying self made goal in the 46th minute which led to 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laur Ratassepp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, SK Lahe's Ralf Raag shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaagup Heinaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Lahe reached it. In the 56th minute Janis Mihklimäe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaagup Heinaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Sergei Pareiko's Jaagup Heinaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC Sergei Pareiko from getting a goal against them. Maido Tooma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janek Aher in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, SK Lahe's goal looked a bit too open when Avo Randveer came free, but Maido Tooma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, SK Lahe's Ralf Raag seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ralf Raag the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Lahe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ralf Raag had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SK Lahe! Toomas Viilup shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to SK Lahe getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Janis Mihklimäe hit a great ball. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Sergei Pareiko's Joel Talvik got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Anton Loodus's late challenge caught a FC Sergei Pareiko's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Loodus helped the player get up and apologised. 75 minutes into the match, SK Lahe's goal looked a bit too open when Toomas Viilup came free, but Maido Tooma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Janis Mihklimäe came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the SK Lahe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janis Mihklimäe couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Anton Loodus managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Lahe's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Loodus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaagup Heinaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Janis Mihklimäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jaagup Heinaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janis Mihklimäe in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaagup Heinaru saved FC Sergei Pareiko from getting behind. If Bernhard Raju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janis Mihklimäe got free with Jaagup Heinaru in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Avo Randveer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Sergei Pareiko supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SK Lahe's performance. The match ended with a win for SK Lahe.
