The referee ignored AC Mafia's protests and gave Siim Kaldur a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AC Mafia's Siim Kaldur got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Kimi Räikkönen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Viikmaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Gunnar Viikmaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Adamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Viikmaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kimi Räikkönen having to make a save. When Adolf Kruusamäe fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rouge's protests and gave Adolf Kruusamäe a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Rouge got a freekick which was hit by Adolf Kruusamäe. Kimi Räikkönen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aare Karja in the 27th minute of play. Rouge's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hardo Põld in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes Rouge got a freekick which was hit by Aare Karja. Kimi Räikkönen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Adamson in the 34th minute of play. Gunnar Viikmaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kimi Räikkönen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gunnar Viikmaa ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Rouge's Lennart Adamson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kimi Räikkönen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AC Mafia's Kimi Räikkönen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Adamson in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, AC Mafia's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Adamson came free, but Kimi Räikkönen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart Adamson was the one to do the kick off. When Gunnar Viikmaa came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Rouge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Viikmaa couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Adolf Kruusamäe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rouge's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolf Kruusamäe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kimi Räikkönen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kimi Räikkönen stood somewhat misplaced when Lennart Adamson came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Kimi Räikkönen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Adamson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Viikmaa got free with Kimi Räikkönen in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kimi Räikkönen came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rouge's Gunnar Viikmaa. But to his dismay, Gunnar Viikmaa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aare Karja charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aare Karja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84thth minute of the game Lennart Adamson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Mafia's Kimi Räikkönen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AC Mafia's zone, Lennart Adamson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kimi Räikkönen came out of the goal and Lennart Adamson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eero Volmer fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Mafia's protests and gave Eero Volmer a yellow card for diving instead. Eero Volmer kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Rouge's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
