Vardi JK's Keijo Heiberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Vardi JK from getting a goal against them. Keijo Heiberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Gabriel Riis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
