A hard shot by Aigis Manos from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Takis Sakellaridis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 6 minutes, Iphiklos Evanggenelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metaxochórion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iphiklos Evanggenelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metaxochórion's goalkeeper Aipytos Garofalis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agis Skandalis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ploutos Pappageorge shot from long distance in the 23rd minute, but Takis Sakellaridis was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Leontin Albeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metaxochórion's goalkeeper Aipytos Garofalis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leontin Albeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Koúfaros BC's zone, Akis Pispinis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takis Sakellaridis came out of the goal and Akis Pispinis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 played minutes, Metaxochórion's Aigis Manos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Takis Sakellaridis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metaxochórion reached it. In the 54th match minute, Koúfaros BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michalis Vozoras to maneuver through the defense. If Leontin Albeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Akis Pispinis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Sakellaridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Metaxochórion's Haimon Bertsimas got a free kick in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Michalis Vozoras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Koúfaros BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metaxochórion the free kick. Metaxochórion's Aipytos Garofalis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Metaxochórion from getting a goal against them. Koúfaros BC's Takis Sakellaridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iphiklos Evanggenelis in the 87th minute of play. Giorgos Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aipytos Garofalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
