Dimosthenis Horiatis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fanis Villas came out and tried to block the shot, but Dimosthenis Horiatis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Fanis Villas was a little too slow when Juan-Carlos Dios got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 2-0. Dimosthenis Horiatis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Fanis Villas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dimosthenis Horiatis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Fanis Villas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice moves Dimosthenis Horiatis could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Fanis Villas however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Dimosthenis Horiatis sped through AEK KOUKLION's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fanis Villas. With a little luck, AEK KOUKLION's Fanis Villas got control of the ball when Dimosthenis Horiatis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dimosthenis Horiatis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fanis Villas. That made the score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. Dimosthenis Horiatis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimosthenis Horiatis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fanis Villas having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Dimosthenis Horiatis notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of AEK KOUKLION's Fanis Villas. Fanis Villas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dimosthenis Dioletis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, AEK KOUKLION's goalkeeper Fanis Villas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimosthenis Horiatis. Dimosthenis Horiatis had several of the AEK KOUKLION's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 7-0 score and a disappointed Fanis Villas as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimosthenis Horiatis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Apoel Stars's Dimosthenis Horiatis in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK KOUKLION's goalie prevented a goal. Lykomedes Demas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Dimosthenis Horiatis made a precise shot to the right of Fanis Villas. AEK KOUKLION's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Dimosthenis Horiatis sped through AEK KOUKLION's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fanis Villas. Dimosthenis Horiatis scored 10-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fanis Villas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fanis Villas came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Apoel Stars's Dimosthenis Horiatis. But to his dismay, Dimosthenis Horiatis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Dimosthenis Horiatis put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fanis Villas. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Dimosthenis Horiatis put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fanis Villas. After 83 minutes, Dimosthenis Horiatis made it 15-0 with a short kick to the right side. AEK KOUKLION's Fanis Villas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Dimosthenis Horiatis put it in 16-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fanis Villas. Fanis Villas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimosthenis Horiatis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Juan-Carlos Dios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apoel Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan-Carlos Dios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fanis Villas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oileus Skandalis charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oileus Skandalis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oileus Skandalis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Thrinakie Pagonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Villas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Apoel Stars fully deserved thier win.
