Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dardanos Papoutsis started the match with the kick off. Aglauros Koutsoubos hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Hector Yfantis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaggelis Totolos's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for SL Benfica. Dardanos Papoutsis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hector Yfantis. 0-1. After a rather tough play, SL Benfica's Hyllos Garofalis got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Aglauros Koutsoubos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dardanos Papoutsis sped through Tsambí BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hector Yfantis. When SL Benfica's Dardanos Papoutsis in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kyszkos Logarakis charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyszkos Logarakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tsambí BC's Kyszkos Logarakis got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Lykomedes Egonidis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SL Benfica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lykomedes Egonidis couldn't finish the play. Dardanos Papoutsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kapaneus Karnoupakis struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Toni Lozano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tsambí BC. Hector Yfantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanasis Panayiotopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Dardanos Papoutsis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tsambí BC's Hector Yfantis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Kapaneus Karnoupakis made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SL Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Kapaneus Karnoupakis came free, but Toni Lozano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes SL Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Myrtilos Mersinias. In the 56th minute, Kapaneus Karnoupakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dardanos Papoutsis in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Yfantis saved Tsambí BC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaggelis Totolos got free with Hector Yfantis in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SL Benfica's Dardanos Papoutsis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Tsambí BC's Zacharias Katsivalis got a free kick in the 70th minute. Toni Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kapaneus Karnoupakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Totolos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hector Yfantis, 0-6. Thanasis Panayiotopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dardanos Papoutsis in the 81st minute of play forced Tsambí BC's goalkeeper Hector Yfantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dardanos Papoutsis in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Yfantis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aglauros Koutsoubos kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, SL Benfica's Dardanos Papoutsis made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Yfantis was left in no man's land by his defense there!
