Spectators: 10829 (Terracing: 8123, Seating: 2490, VIP seats: 216) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Su Xu Xi took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Xu Xi in the 4th minute of play forced OMONOIA's goalkeeper Koios Panayiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Vergas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Zanette's late challenge caught a Unione Sportiva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. Eduardo Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Koios Panayiotopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Xu Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of OMONOIA booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tassos Koutsoubos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when August Bratt came free, but Koios Panayiotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes OMONOIA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was August Bratt who took care of the corner kick. The long shot by Eduardo Zanette in the 20th minute really tested Fernado Alves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 24 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when Tassos Koutsoubos came free, but Koios Panayiotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Su Xu Xi came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Unione Sportiva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Su Xu Xi couldn't finish the play. Fernado Alves made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Honorio Vergas sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Vergas got free with Fernado Alves in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Koios Panayiotopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tassos Koutsoubos went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fernado Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivón Echavarri in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes OMONOIA got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Kiewra. After the first half Unione Sportiva were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivón Echavarri to strike the kick off in the second half. Koios Panayiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Xu Xi in the 52nd minute of play. Fernado Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seilenos Chrysanthopoulos in the 57th minute of play. Fernado Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivón Echavarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OMONOIA's Koios Panayiotopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save OMONOIA from getting a goal against them. With his leg Koios Panayiotopoulos managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Unione Sportiva's Tassos Koutsoubos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Su Xu Xi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Koios Panayiotopoulos was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Tassos Koutsoubos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koios Panayiotopoulos having to interfere. OMONOIA made a substitution. Nikos Koulouris replaced Robert Babicki. Koios Panayiotopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Xu Xi in the 74th minute of the match. Koios Panayiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Kun Xuan in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Su Xu Xi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Koios Panayiotopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fernado Alves came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by OMONOIA's 邵城沙. But to his dismay, 邵城沙 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Tassos Koutsoubos could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Koios Panayiotopoulos however easily saved by the left post. Koios Panayiotopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Xu Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Unione Sportiva eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
