Leeds U.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barganliy the free kick. After a rather tough play, Leeds U.'s Totyo Michkov got a free kick in the 10th minute. Radomir Gunchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bone Vezirski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Leeds U.'s goal looked a bit too open when Simeon Bondov came free, but Radomir Gunchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bone Vezirski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Gunchev having to interfere. Kamen Kúrlev's late challenge caught a Barganliy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kamen Kúrlev helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Leeds U. got a freekick which was hit by Svetlan Rinkov. Barganliy's Bone Vezirski got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radomir Gunchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simeon Bondov in the 37th minute of play. Simeon Bondov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simeon Bondov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Radomir Gunchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

58 minutes into the match, Leeds U.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bone Vezirski came free, but Radomir Gunchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Leeds U.'s zone, Simeon Bondov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radomir Gunchev came out of the goal and Simeon Bondov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Leeds U.'s goal looked a bit too open when Simeon Bondov came free, but Radomir Gunchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leeds U.'s goalkeeper Radomir Gunchev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radomir Gunchev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simeon Bondov went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Simeon Bondov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Gunchev having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bone Vezirski in the 90th minute of play forced Leeds U.'s goalkeeper Radomir Gunchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
