The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Grivata's Reiner Sørrig got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, FC Grivata's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Alvarez came free, but Venko Notev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Vanko Kavlakov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nayden Vúlev. GARGOYLES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vanko Kavlakov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With an all-out effort, FC Grivata's Nayden Vúlev threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radowit Ogrodowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. GARGOYLES's Nayden Vúlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 11th minute of play. Venko Notev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavyan Mechkuev in the 18th minute of the match. Venko Notev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Alvarez in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, GARGOYLES's goal looked a bit too open when Vanko Kavlakov came free, but Nayden Vúlev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venko Notev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Valko Nanyov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slavyan Mechkuev struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Venko Notev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GARGOYLES. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venko Notev was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Venko Notev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavyan Mechkuev in the 29th minute of the match. Slavyan Mechkuev took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venko Notev. Venko Notev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nayden Vúlev made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Rayko Tzonkin sent off a good shot on target. Øyvind Skoglund hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Alvarez in the 51st minute of play forced FC Grivata's goalkeeper Venko Notev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes of play, FC Grivata's Øyvind Skoglund made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nayden Vúlev was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, GARGOYLES's goal looked a bit too open when Vanko Kavlakov came free, but Nayden Vúlev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Grivata's Venko Notev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naycho Dotzov in the 62nd minute of play. Nayden Vúlev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Grivata were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after GARGOYLES's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Øyvind Skoglund took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Grivata's corner Øyvind Skoglund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nayden Vúlev quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68th match minute, FC Grivata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reiner Sørrig to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nayden Vúlev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venko Notev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 李永乐 Appleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Nayden Vúlev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Øyvind Skoglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, FC Grivata's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Alvarez came free, but Venko Notev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nayden Vúlev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Øyvind Skoglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nayden Vúlev was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Valko Nanyov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Venko Notev made a huge save. Zhou Lei Jian hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, GARGOYLES's Naycho Dotzov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Venko Notev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GARGOYLES reached it. Ignacio Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venko Notev having to interfere. FC Grivata's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
