Spectators: 9196 (Terracing: 6909, Seating: 2117, VIP seats: 170) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luis Alberto Suárez kicked off to start the match. Luis Alberto Suárez came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nikifor Vekov could save by the left post. Naycho Palyov hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Kliment Zakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Sang Hao in the 13th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Birmingham City F.C.'s Nikifor Vekov threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zhivko Kudev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Quirze in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kliment Zakov saved Birmingham City F.C. from getting behind. Zhivko Kudev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nikifor Vekov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhivko Kudev in the 22nd minute of play. JET-M's Nikifor Vekov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Boberg in the 26th minute of play. Kliment Zakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Luis Alberto Suárez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Quirze scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kliment Zakov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half JET-M were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ivan Haglund made the kick off in the second half. Julio Quirze struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Kliment Zakov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JET-M. Birmingham City F.C.'s Luis Alberto Suárez got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birmingham City F.C.'s Kliment Zakov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Birmingham City F.C. from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Haglund in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kliment Zakov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 played minutes Birmingham City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Valko Sofiyanski. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Luis Alberto Suárez put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nikifor Vekov. The audience was convinced that Luis Alberto Suárez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikifor Vekov was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Sang Hao in the 64th minute of play forced Birmingham City F.C.'s goalkeeper Kliment Zakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikifor Vekov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhivko Kudev's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Nikifor Vekov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhivko Kudev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lu Wei Zheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JET-M's Peycho Zvezdanov was substituted for Su Sang Hao. Nikifor Vekov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhivko Kudev in the 77th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, JET-M's goal looked a bit too open when Zhivko Kudev came free, but Nikifor Vekov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikifor Vekov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhivko Kudev went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 94 minutes, Erland Boberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birmingham City F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Boberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the JET-M players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Birmingham City F.C..
