The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desislav Sergeev in the 3rd minute of play forced JET-M's goalkeeper Nikifor Vekov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Nikifor Vekov managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Botev Plovdiv 1912's Alf Hansson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alf Hansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikifor Vekov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, JET-M's goalkeeper Nikifor Vekov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Hansson. The supporters of Botev Plovdiv 1912 booed when JET-M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Haglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Desislav Sergeev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikifor Vekov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JET-M's Nikifor Vekov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desislav Sergeev in the 21st minute of play. Alf Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nikifor Vekov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Quirze came free, but Joacim Dromph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Hansson got free with Nikifor Vekov in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joacim Dromph stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Haglund's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Desislav Sergeev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JET-M's Nikifor Vekov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, JET-M's Quinton Ladra got a free kick in the 34th minute. Julio Quirze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Dromph having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, JET-M was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ren Xi Liang to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, JET-M's goal looked a bit too open when Desislav Sergeev came free, but Nikifor Vekov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Botev Plovdiv 1912 booed when JET-M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Su Sang Hao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ren Xi Liang kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Su Sang Hao made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Alf Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikifor Vekov was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Botev Plovdiv 1912 were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after JET-M's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Remy Uytdebroeck took the corner. The corner ended in Remy Uytdebroeck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JET-M's Nikifor Vekov did a great save. Julio Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Joacim Dromph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 65 in the game by Ivan Haglund from a close distance when the talented Joacim Dromph managed to make a qualified save. Botev Plovdiv 1912's players were relieved. Ivan Haglund did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Joacim Dromph 65 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Remy Uytdebroeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikifor Vekov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Joacim Dromph played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peycho Zvezdanov in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Quirze came free, but Joacim Dromph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Botev Plovdiv 1912 getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Przemyslaw Trynda hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Botev Plovdiv 1912 failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
