Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Akif Saygın took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hayati Cihaner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Talat Ongel. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. With his leg Talat Ongel managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Tortum FK's Akif Saygın fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ömer Rıza Yalınayak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Kütahyaspor getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Güngör Tekcan hit a great ball. Akif Saygın struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Talat Ongel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tortum FK. Erol Başat hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Ecevit Ülkü cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Reha Özdoğru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tortum FK's Akif Saygın got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Akif Saygın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Talat Ongel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 22 minutes into the game, Coşkun Cihangir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Talat Ongel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Ecevit Ülkü left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kütahyaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Ömer Rıza Yalınayak took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Talat Ongel. Talat Ongel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Ömer Rıza Yalınayak hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Hayati Cihaner took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Talat Ongel. Talat Ongel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Akif Saygın blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Talat Ongel having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çelebi Yamanöz made a kick off. Ahmet Ege Baysan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute Akif Saygın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Ongel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şener Ersezen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Akif Saygın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Ongel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talat Ongel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şener Ersezen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Tortum FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ecevit Ülkü came free, but Reha Özdoğru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Akif Saygın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tortum FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akif Saygın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Talat Ongel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayati Cihaner in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute Ahmet Ege Baysan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Ongel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kütahyaspor booed when Tortum FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömer Rıza Yalınayak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Tortum FK's goal looked a bit too open when Çelebi Yamanöz came free, but Reha Özdoğru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tortum FK booed when Kütahyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ecevit Ülkü didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Akif Saygın came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tortum FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akif Saygın couldn't finish the play.
