The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baha Balabey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mert Okyar in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mert Okyar in the 11th minute of play forced Saricakaya FK's goalkeeper Baha Balabey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Mert Okyar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baha Balabey. Mert Okyar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Napoleon Antoszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Öz Bağlar Spor Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napoleon Antoszewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Okaner Öztay kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Resul Barbaros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saricakaya FK's Baha Balabey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mert Okyar in the 32nd minute of play. Baha Balabey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Antoszewski in the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Semi Yalınay got free with Ahmet İlke Baydak in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mehmet Bilge İltemur fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Öz Bağlar Spor Kulübü's protests and gave Mehmet Bilge İltemur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Öz Bağlar Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bilge İltemur to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet İlke Baydak was a little too slow when Kandemir Ilgaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Baha Balabey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mert Okyar's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Napoleon Antoszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baha Balabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Mert Okyar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Saricakaya FK's Baha Balabey got control of the ball when Napoleon Antoszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mert Okyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Baha Balabey managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Öz Bağlar Spor Kulübü's Napoleon Antoszewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Öz Bağlar Spor Kulübü's Baha Balabey threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mert Okyar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Saricakaya FK's Baha Balabey got control of the ball when Napoleon Antoszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mert Okyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Baha Balabey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Napoleon Antoszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öz Bağlar Spor Kulübü's supporters rose to their feet, but Napoleon Antoszewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baha Balabey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tahir Onatsu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Okaner Öztay kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Saricakaya FK defense, Napoleon Antoszewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baha Balabey. The Saricakaya FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baha Balabey should have stopped the shot. Öz Bağlar Spor Kulübü's Napoleon Antoszewski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Napoleon Antoszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Napoleon Antoszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baha Balabey having to interfere. Öz Bağlar Spor Kulübü's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
