A collision led to Ataköy getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arslan Tümay hit a great ball. When Ali Vedat Azer came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tophane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Vedat Azer couldn't finish the play.

Buğra Öztunç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Vedat Azer in the 52nd minute of play. Yiğitcan Bahadıroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yiğitcan Bahadıroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Ataköy got a freekick which was hit by Yiğitcan Bahadıroğlu. In the 55th minute, İstemihan Bektaş sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ataköy's Buğra Öztunç didn't even have to move. Buğra Öztunç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oğuzkan Seyhan's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Buğra Öztunç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Kemal Özbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes Ataköy got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Cumhur Gayret. Ali Vedat Azer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Buğra Öztunç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Vedat Azer went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 95 minutes, Ali Vedat Azer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tophane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Vedat Azer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tophane walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
