Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kılıçhan Pekdeger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. TRABZONSPOR's Reha Erkılıç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kılıçhan Pekdeger in the 4th minute of play. TRABZONSPOR's Reha Erkılıç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save TRABZONSPOR from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Abbas Taştekin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reha Erkılıç. TRABZONSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abbas Taştekin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 22 played minutes TRABZONSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Şener Ulgu. Semavi Canbolat came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by TRABZONSPOR's Mazhar Tapgaç. But to his dismay, Mazhar Tapgaç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. TRABZONSPOR's Reha Erkılıç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kılıçhan Pekdeger in the 29th minute of play. Reha Erkılıç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kılıçhan Pekdeger in the 31st minute of the match. Kartal Ruhsat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Semavi Canbolat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazhar Tapgaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semavi Canbolat having to interfere. Semavi Canbolat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartal Ruhsat in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kartal Ruhsat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şener Ulgu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Kartal Ruhsat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kartal Ruhsat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Semavi Canbolat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reha Erkılıç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kılıçhan Pekdeger, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Kılıçhan Pekdeger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reha Erkılıç was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the TRABZONSPOR defense, Kılıçhan Pekdeger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reha Erkılıç. The TRABZONSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reha Erkılıç should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute Abbas Taştekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reha Erkılıç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mazhar Tapgaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semavi Canbolat having to interfere.
