Caglar's Tolunay Hicran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Gazi Kaynak in the 71st minute of play. galatasaray's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Koray Sökmener scored to the left of an out of position Reşit Teren, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battal Cüneyt Zeynur in the 77th minute of play forced Caglar's goalkeeper Tolunay Hicran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Selim Yükselir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reşit Teren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
