The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mümtazer Sanbay during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, SK Erler's goal looked a bit too open when Veysel Kazım came free, but Müfit Tüzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, SK Erler's Erdeniz Barkın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ozan Fazilet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 18th minute, Mümtazer Sanbay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ozan Fazilet. The goal made the score 3-0. After 21 played minutes, SK Erler's Necmi Öge shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ozan Fazilet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Erler reached it. Ozan Fazilet made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Erdeniz Barkın sent off a good shot on target. Samsun's Ozan Fazilet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Samsun from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the game, SK Erler's Erdeniz Barkın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ozan Fazilet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Veysel Kazım struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Müfit Tüzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samsun. Ozan Fazilet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümtazer Sanbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to SK Erler getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ceyhun Vahdet hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Rüknettin Sargınal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SK Erler's Müfit Tüzel didn't even have to move. 46 minutes into the match, Samsun's Veysel Kazım sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Müfit Tüzel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Mümtazer Sanbay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ozan Fazilet. The goal made the score 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rüknettin Sargınal made a kick off. Müfit Tüzel was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Veysel Kazım capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Veysel Kazım really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mümtazer Sanbay in the 60th minute of play forced Samsun's goalkeeper Ozan Fazilet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Gündüz Kurban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mümtazer Sanbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ozan Fazilet having to interfere. Ozan Fazilet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhun Vahdet, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ozan Fazilet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Kurban in the 81st minute of the match. Ozan Fazilet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Kurban in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Rüknettin Sargınal could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Müfit Tüzel however easily saved by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, Samsun's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Kurban came free, but Ozan Fazilet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ozan Fazilet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhun Vahdet, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in SK Erler's zone, Veysel Kazım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müfit Tüzel came out of the goal and Veysel Kazım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Rüknettin Sargınal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rüknettin Sargınal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 98 minutes into the match, SK Erler's goal looked a bit too open when Veysel Kazım came free, but Müfit Tüzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Samsun players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SK Erler.
