The supporters of Okmeydani booed when Bodrum Kalesi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Binali Candaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selami İmralı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veli Ocak's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes Okmeydani got a freekick which was hit by Veli Ocak. If Yahya Kemal Afgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Yahya Kemal Afgan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Okmeydani's Ahmet Reha Özberk. Ahmet Reha Özberk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Veli Ocak fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Okmeydani's protests and gave Veli Ocak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Veli Ocak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Okmeydani players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bodrum Kalesi were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yahya Kemal Afgan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
