The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Rohan's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan Oytunç came free, but Batu Reşat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercan Oytunç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batu Reşat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Ömerli's Ali Haydar Velican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinan Tigin in the 21st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Ant Esendağ got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ercan Oytunç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Cezmi Şerif was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rohan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ömerli the free kick. 33 minutes into the match, Ömerli's goalkeeper Ali Haydar Velican had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sinan Tigin. Cezmi Şerif was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Ömerli booed when Rohan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezmi Şerif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ömerli's Şafak Dirsehan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rohan. In the 39th minute, Ercan Oytunç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ömerli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Rohan booed when Ömerli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafet Acaroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th match minute, Rohan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihan Özcan to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ant Esendağ to strike the kick off in the second half. Ercan Oytunç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batu Reşat having to interfere. The supporters of Ömerli booed when Rohan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Demiralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onurhan Ekin charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Furkan Namal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ömerli played a much better game than Rohan and deserved their victory. The Rohan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
