Kerim Geylanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rıza Ersunal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerim Geylanoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rıza Ersunal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kerim Geylanoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 14 minutes, Mehmet Efe Şanalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ordu Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Efe Şanalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ordu Spor getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Atilla Bumin Kayrabay hit a great ball.
