PiLaV üSTü KuRu's Yağızhan Ilgaz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Ahmet Göktuğ Peşrev in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gerze's Ferdi Sökmener. Tekin Kavaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kılıç Üstündağ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tekin Kavaş ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, PiLaV üSTü KuRu's goal looked a bit too open when Tekin Kavaş came free, but Kılıç Üstündağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Yağızhan Ilgaz could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Namık Canalp however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Songurbey İltekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerze's supporters rose to their feet, but Songurbey İltekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kılıç Üstündağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The PiLaV üSTü KuRu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gerze were winning 0-3.
