In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marmaris spor's goalkeeper Bora Han Devrim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Numan Saban during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cizre FK's Seyhun Özbay got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yakup Kadri Tekke kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Fikri Parsbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedai Hurmacı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Seyhun Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Han Devrim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Marmaris spor getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gürol Özdil hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Seyhun Özbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Türkeş Haliç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bora Han Devrim having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Türkeş Haliç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cizre FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Türkeş Haliç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bora Han Devrim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Numan Saban hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Bora Han Devrim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Türkeş Haliç in the 42nd minute. Barbaros Şensoy kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Hayyam Hekimhanlı didn't quite understand what happened when in the 49 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seyhun Özbay made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Marmaris spor's goal looked a bit too open when Seyhun Özbay came free, but Bora Han Devrim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Türkeş Haliç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Fedai Hurmacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fikri Parsbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fikri Parsbay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güngör Deren in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cizre FK's zone, Fedai Hurmacı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fikri Parsbay came out of the goal and Fedai Hurmacı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Güngör Deren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fikri Parsbay made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Güngör Deren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fikri Parsbay. The goal made the score 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
