Seyfullah Yastıkcığlu charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seyfullah Yastıkcığlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Seyfullah Yastıkcığlu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Selmi Seyhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utku Canıtez having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Merih Demiral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyfullah Yastıkcığlu to maneuver through the defense. Utku Canıtez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şensoy Hünkar went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Şensoy Hünkar put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Utku Canıtez. Utku Canıtez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alpay Sadan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Cobanlar's Alpay Sadan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Utku Canıtez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cobanlar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selmi Seyhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Merih Demiral FC defense, Şensoy Hünkar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Utku Canıtez. The Merih Demiral FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Utku Canıtez should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Sercan Azimoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersin Çoğa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Şensoy Hünkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utku Canıtez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Şensoy Hünkar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selmi Seyhan couldn't finish the play. Cobanlar's Karahan Seyhun got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Selmi Seyhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selmi Seyhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Şensoy Hünkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Selmi Seyhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobanlar's supporters rose to their feet, but Selmi Seyhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Utku Canıtez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Cobanlar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Merih Demiral FC throughout the match.
