Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Trabzonspor's Halim Rafettin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ozan İrfan kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes, Bor's Mustafa Orhan Tankoç shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sezai Doğay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bor reached it. When İlhami Uygu fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trabzonspor's protests and gave İlhami Uygu a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trabzonspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute, Halim Rafettin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Utkan Rahim, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 15 minutes, Halim Rafettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trabzonspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halim Rafettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sadri Zirve fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bor's protests and gave Sadri Zirve a yellow card for diving instead. Sadri Zirve hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes of play, Bor's Alkın Delfin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sezai Doğay was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Bor's zone, Erkan Ademoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Utkan Rahim came out of the goal and Erkan Ademoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Bor's goal looked a bit too open when Halim Rafettin came free, but Utkan Rahim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trabzonspor's Erkan Ademoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ufuk Aşık's late challenge caught a Bor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ufuk Aşık helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Ufuk Aşık got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Alkın Delfin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezai Doğay having to interfere. Alkın Delfin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sezai Doğay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sezai Doğay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alkın Delfin went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Trabzonspor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bor were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melih Cevdet İnanır was the one to do the kick off. Melih Cevdet İnanır in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sezai Doğay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ahmet Korcan Ekinci hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Melih Cevdet İnanır recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sezai Doğay. Melih Cevdet İnanır showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 64 minutes, Ali Baran Şennur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trabzonspor and the Bor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bor booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Baran Şennur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Mustafa Orhan Tankoç sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Trabzonspor's Sezai Doğay didn't even have to move. If Işık Akpolat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezai Doğay stood somewhat misplaced when Melih Cevdet İnanır came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Utkan Rahim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkan Ademoğlu in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Melih Cevdet İnanır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Doğay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melih Cevdet İnanır might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sezai Doğay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melih Cevdet İnanır ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Bor booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Korcan Ekinci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes in the game, Melih Cevdet İnanır fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sezai Doğay having to interfere. When Sadri Zirve was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 89th minute, Sadri Zirve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Trabzonspor's Halim Rafettin in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bor's goalie prevented a goal. The Bor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
