Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hikmet Demirsah got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Selçuk Hallaç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahcelievler's supporters rose to their feet, but Selçuk Hallaç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hulki Karay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Turan Yahya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Turan Yahya came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Bahcelievler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turan Yahya couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Hulki Karay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turan Yahya. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Selçuk Hallaç in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hulki Karay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Turan Yahya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hulki Karay made a huge save. Selçuk Hallaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bahcelievler booed when TRABZONSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ali Garip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hulki Karay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selçuk Hallaç's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Turan Yahya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Hulki Karay made a huge save. After 38 played minutes TRABZONSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Serter Baştürk. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by TRABZONSPOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hıncal Kökten was slow to take the kick. During this time Bahcelievler's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Bahcelievler's Furkan Erbaş got a free kick in the 41st minute. Mahir Pamiroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Turan Yahya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Selçuk Hallaç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turan Yahya in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hulki Karay saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. Selçuk Hallaç might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hulki Karay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Selçuk Hallaç ran back to his position shaking his head. Hulki Karay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selçuk Hallaç, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Turan Yahya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hulki Karay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Selçuk Hallaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hulki Karay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Serter Baştürk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TRABZONSPOR and the Bahcelievler players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serter Baştürk kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Hikmet Demirsah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giray Betik having to interfere. If Turan Yahya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TRABZONSPOR's Hulki Karay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selçuk Hallaç in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selçuk Hallaç in the 89th minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Hulki Karay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hulki Karay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selçuk Hallaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
