Yedikule JK's Hüseyin Cahit Oylum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okanay Canver in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Şensoy Saraç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yedikule JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şensoy Saraç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şensoy Saraç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Şensoy Saraç sent off a good shot on target. Karsiyaka's Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Eraslan in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Karsiyaka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
