Hüseyin Turan Ünverdi came out of the goal and Orhun Metiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necaettin Urandu got free with Mahsun Serim in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ahmet Kutsi Taşcan came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Kumkapi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Kutsi Taşcan couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Kutsi Taşcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mahsun Serim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes in the game, Ahmet Kutsi Taşcan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mahsun Serim having to interfere. Aranan Adam's Caner Nevruz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 98 minutes, Orhun Metiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aranan Adam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhun Metiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
