The supporters of Karsiyaka booed when Aranan Adam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güntekin Doğa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Karsiyaka's Okanay Canver got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Selçuk Tokdemir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aranan Adam's Mahsun Serim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mahsun Serim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okanay Canver, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aranan Adam's zone, Okanay Canver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahsun Serim came out of the goal and Okanay Canver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Selçuk Tokdemir put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mahsun Serim. Okanay Canver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahsun Serim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okanay Canver in the 44th minute of play forced Aranan Adam's goalkeeper Mahsun Serim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Erdem Canatan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aranan Adam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karsiyaka the free kick. Erdem Canatan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Mahsun Serim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Okanay Canver went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

In the 56th match minute, Karsiyaka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salih Yağızbay to maneuver through the defense. Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orhun Metiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aranan Adam's goalkeeper Mahsun Serim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Güntekin Doğa charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güntekin Doğa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Güntekin Doğa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Karsiyaka's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
