Bahadır Çol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Melih Tutkun made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Timur Kutam immediately put the ball in play. Bahadır Çol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timur Kutam in the 14th minute. Balcova's Godofredo Aznar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Onuralp Eyüpoğlu, made in the 19th minute of the game. In the 22nd match minute, Nazimiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melih Tutkun to maneuver through the defense. Abdullah Ersalmış charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdullah Ersalmış the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nazimiye getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Abdullah Ersalmış hit a great ball. Haşmet Yiğithan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Haluk Ötüken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timur Kutam got free with Bahadır Çol in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raşit Akatay was the one to do the kick off. If Timur Kutam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Rıza Çırağ put in a rough tackle. Balcova's Godofredo Aznar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Melih Tutkun, made in the 63rd minute of the game. After having played for 70 minutes, Çağrı Bayram managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazimiye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağrı Bayram was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haluk Ötüken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşmet Yiğithan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute Haşmet Yiğithan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haluk Ötüken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Godofredo Aznar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haluk Ötüken. Nazimiye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godofredo Aznar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Haşmet Yiğithan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Haşmet Yiğithan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Haluk Ötüken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcova. Balcova's Haşmet Yiğithan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ferman Esir in the 93 minute of the game. Balcova's Haşmet Yiğithan got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Balcova's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Balcova may have spent more time on the ball, but Nazimiye were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
