In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darende's goalkeeper Necati İlighan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baturay Ergüç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necati İlighan having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veysel Uluşahin made a kick off. Macit Belek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necati İlighan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakut Polatalp in the 59th minute of play. Macit Belek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Meram JK's goal looked a bit too open when Zekeriya Tanırcan came free, but Egemen Veysi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darende were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Meram JK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darende's Necati İlighan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Darende from getting a goal against them. Baturay Ergüç took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Necati İlighan. Necati İlighan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Meram JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
