Seyfullah İşkembeci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuz Songurhan in the 10th minute of the match. Fazıl Hüsnü Batüralp's late challenge caught a Horyanspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fazıl Hüsnü Batüralp helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ikizce getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fazıl Hüsnü Batüralp hit a great ball. Nuh Gülle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfullah İşkembeci having to interfere. Oğuz Songurhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuh Gülle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Seyfullah İşkembeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Horyanspor's Bedrettin Coşan got control of the ball when Fazıl Hüsnü Batüralp tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Horyanspor's goalkeeper Bedrettin Coşan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Can Özben. Bedrettin Coşan was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Bektaş Ali Talu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bektaş Ali Talu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bedrettin Coşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Can Özben, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Ikizce booed when Horyanspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Baltacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Oğuz Songurhan came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Horyanspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuz Songurhan couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Can Özben got free with Bedrettin Coşan in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bektaş Ali Talu made the kick off in the second half. When Ikizce's Can Özben in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Horyanspor's goalie prevented a goal. Horyanspor's Bedrettin Coşan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Can Özben in the 55th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play Ikizce's Fazıl Hüsnü Batüralp was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Can Özben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Seyfullah İşkembeci successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72ndth minute of the game Oğuz Songurhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ikizce's Seyfullah İşkembeci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Can Özben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Can Özben struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Bedrettin Coşan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ikizce. If Can Özben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Can Özben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedrettin Coşan having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Nuh Gülle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Seyfullah İşkembeci. The goal made the score 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
