Ahmet Turan Ortun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orhan Taciroğlu went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş JK's Batıray Pekdemir got a free kick in the 41st minute. Selahaddin Payidar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Turan Ortun having to make a save.
