The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sungurhan Öztay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atak Menderes's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Acipayam FK's Dursun Ali Bal got a free kick in the 9th minute. Sungurhan Öztay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atak Menderes in the 10th minute of the match. Dursun Ali Bal kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cafer Üster in the 29th minute of play forced Mustang Club Team's goalkeeper Mehmet Arif Boratay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haldun Sualp hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Kunter Riayet kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Armağan Şemsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acipayam FK and the Mustang Club Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. 36 minutes into the match, Acipayam FK's goal looked a bit too open when Atak Menderes came free, but Sungurhan Öztay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustang Club Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Balaban Candeğer in the 40th minute. Sungurhan Öztay was a little too slow when Atak Menderes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atak Menderes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Ozan Zahit took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sungurhan Öztay. Acipayam FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Acipayam FK defense, Atak Menderes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sungurhan Öztay. The Acipayam FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sungurhan Öztay should have stopped the shot. Mehmet Arif Boratay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Kotuzhan in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Ali Cafer Üster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Kunter Riayet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Ali Cafer Üster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acipayam FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Cafer Üster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Acipayam FK. Armağan Şemsi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mehmet Arif Boratay. 2-1. After having played for 78 minutes, Atak Menderes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mustang Club Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atak Menderes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Bilge Güdeş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sungurhan Öztay having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atak Menderes in the 81st minute of play forced Acipayam FK's goalkeeper Sungurhan Öztay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Ozan Zahit hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ali Cafer Üster struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Mehmet Arif Boratay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acipayam FK. In the 96th minute Mehmet Bilge Güdeş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sungurhan Öztay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acipayam FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
