Spectators: 7160 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 10) Cesur Çetinel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesur Çetinel in the 3rd minute of play forced GaLaTaSaRaY's goalkeeper Lütfullah Kamber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Baran Utkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lütfullah Kamber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Utkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Baran Utkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Utkan came free, but Lütfullah Kamber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Cesur Çetinel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GaLaTaSaRaY's Lütfullah Kamber. Lütfullah Kamber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesur Çetinel in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lütfullah Kamber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes, Uygur Tuney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derik and the GaLaTaSaRaY players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Derik got a freekick which was hit by Uygur Tuney. In the 34th match minute, Derik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaşar Koralp to maneuver through the defense. Sarp Murtaza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lütfullah Kamber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesur Çetinel's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Baran Utkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesur Çetinel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lütfullah Kamber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sarp Murtaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. GaLaTaSaRaY's supporters rose to their feet, but Sarp Murtaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Ozan Yezid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Sarp Murtaza took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ahmet Ozan Yezid to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Güney Kırman hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Baran Utkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lütfullah Kamber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesur Çetinel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfullah Kamber having to interfere. Yaşar Koralp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lütfullah Kamber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Derik's Cesur Çetinel got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derik's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
