Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when İlmi Raif kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, istanbul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Rosalio to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute İlmi Raif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korcan Geçimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Eulalio Manilan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turhal's Güral Erbay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Güral Erbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selami Ergalip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Manilan in the 17th minute of play forced Turhal's goalkeeper Güral Erbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Turhal's Korcan Geçimoğlu threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from İlmi Raif, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Güral Erbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Manilan in the 22nd minute of play. When Arcan Acunalp fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turhal's protests and gave Arcan Acunalp a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of istanbul booed when Turhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcan Acunalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eulalio Manilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Erbay having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, istanbul's goal looked a bit too open when İlmi Raif came free, but Korcan Geçimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güral Erbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selami Ergalip, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Di Francesco to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, istanbul's Eulalio Manilan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Güral Erbay was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Turhal's Anıl Arda Tutku got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to istanbul getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Orhan Veli Hattat hit a great ball. Korcan Geçimoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçek Atabek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Manilan got free with Güral Erbay in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökçek Atabek in the 71st minute of play forced istanbul's goalkeeper Korcan Geçimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Güral Erbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play Turhal's Anıl Arda Tutku was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Anıl Arda Tutku kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Turhal's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Di Francesco came free, but Güral Erbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The istanbul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
