In the 24th minute Arif Ensar İhtiyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulmelik Nursal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mirza Özozan might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Babür Fırıncı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mirza Özozan ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Arif Ensar İhtiyar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abdulmelik Nursal. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. Mirza Özozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babür Fırıncı having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Ensar İhtiyar to make the kick off. Abdulmelik Nursal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilgin Keçili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Zımpara Gücü's Lefter Heybetli got a free kick in the 66th minute. Abdulmelik Nursal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilgin Keçili in the 69th minute of the match. Zımpara Gücü's Lefter Heybetli pulled a muscle in his leg after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ali Macit Sabancı fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandikli FK's protests and gave Ali Macit Sabancı a yellow card for diving instead. If Mirza Özozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Mirza Özozan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Babür Fırıncı skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Despite being the better team, Zımpara Gücü failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
