The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erim Akdiken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giraldo Maysonet went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Isaias Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Erim Akdiken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Johannes Geraerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REAL MARDİN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Red Lions's Hayyam Erdoğan got a free kick in the 31st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Geraerts to make the kick off. Erim Akdiken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giraldo Maysonet in the 54th minute of the match. Red Lions's Özkan Tardu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Özkan Tardu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahri Doğanten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Red Lions's zone, Isaias Xabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erim Akdiken came out of the goal and Isaias Xabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Gökhan Akata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Giraldo Maysonet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Red Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Giraldo Maysonet came free, but Erim Akdiken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
