Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Selman Temizalp took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Gayrettepe's Raşit Elçibey got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th match minute, Gayrettepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zekeriya Uluberk to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Gayrettepe got a freekick which was hit by Arif Memduh Belge. The long shot by Aytuğ Fişek in the 8th minute really tested Ahmet Fikret Dilşah's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Baran Yazır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cahit Timurtas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Gayrettepe's Selman Temizalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İlmi Polatkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baran Yazır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selman Temizalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Gayrettepe's goal looked a bit too open when Gürol Çırak came free, but Ahmet Fikret Dilşah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Akgün Guftar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlmi Polatkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cahit Timurtas in the 40th minute of play. If Gürol Çırak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Lazebura53's Gürol Çırak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Fikret Dilşah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 70th minute, Ziya Onur Ulgu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gürol Çırak came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Lazebura53 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürol Çırak couldn't finish the play. In the 75th match minute, Lazebura53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necip Eryiğit to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Selman Temizalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gayrettepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Selman Temizalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İlmi Polatkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cahit Timurtas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
