Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atay Tezveren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Kubilay Terim put in a rough tackle. After a defensive mix-up in LİVERPOOL's zone, Erkin Akçay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahsin Kapar came out of the goal and Erkin Akçay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Atay Tezveren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lütfullah Korur. Sivas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atay Tezveren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 19th match minute, LİVERPOOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nedim Dağtekin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Abdullatif Tüzün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sivas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdullatif Tüzün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hasan Hüseyin Yalazay hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Fevzi Okboğa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Abdullatif Tüzün notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of LİVERPOOL's Tahsin Kapar. Tahsin Kapar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. LİVERPOOL's Tahsin Kapar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkin Akçay in the 34th minute of play. Sivas were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after LİVERPOOL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arif Burak Bilge took the corner. LİVERPOOL's Tahsin Kapar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdullatif Tüzün in the 38th minute of play. After 38 played minutes LİVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Davut Cantez. Tahsin Kapar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Hüseyin Yalazay in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Sivas were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erkin Akçay made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Songurhan Durualp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Atay Tezveren sped through Sivas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lütfullah Korur. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Tahsin Kapar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fevzi Okboğa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. LİVERPOOL's Tahsin Kapar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkin Akçay in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkin Akçay in the 74th minute of play forced LİVERPOOL's goalkeeper Tahsin Kapar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Davut Cantez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lütfullah Korur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atay Tezveren in the 79th minute of play. Atay Tezveren's late challenge caught a Sivas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atay Tezveren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Atay Tezveren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sivas getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Sakut Ushan hit a great ball. Lütfullah Korur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fevzi Okboğa in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, LİVERPOOL's goalkeeper Tahsin Kapar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Songurhan Durualp. Abdullatif Tüzün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Kapar having to interfere. When the match was over Sivas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LİVERPOOL throughout the match.
