After a defensive mix-up in FC GG's zone, Zülfikar Taştan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selçuk Tekin came out of the goal and Zülfikar Taştan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC GG's Selçuk Tekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC GG from getting a goal against them. Selçuk Tekin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Güngören's Kerem Mahsun. But to his dismay, Kerem Mahsun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Güngören's Sercan Tümen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Onurhan Sufi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Şentürk Cansoy threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC GG's Mehdi Yöner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 33 minutes into the match, FC GG's goalkeeper Selçuk Tekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sercan Tümen. In the 35th minute Ahmet Baki Tuncaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selçuk Tekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genco Şevket's late challenge caught a Güngören's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genco Şevket helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, FC GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genco Şevket to maneuver through the defense. Selçuk Tekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Oğuz Seferoğlulları in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes FC GG got a freekick which was hit by Nebi Cumhur. In the 43rd minute of the match, Zülfikar Taştan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Selçuk Tekin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, FC GG's Selçuk Tekin got control of the ball when Kerem Mahsun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Selçuk Tekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Oğuz Seferoğlulları in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Oğuz Seferoğlulları made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC GG's Mirkelam Kutal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Mustafa Oğuz Seferoğlulları took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selçuk Tekin. Selçuk Tekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Selçuk Tekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Oğuz Seferoğlulları, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Sercan Tümen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC GG getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mirkelam Kutal hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC GG defense, Mustafa Oğuz Seferoğlulları kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selçuk Tekin. The FC GG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selçuk Tekin should have stopped the shot. Selçuk Tekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Oğuz Seferoğlulları in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Zülfikar Taştan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selçuk Tekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. FC GG made a substitution. Abidin Tümerk replaced Genco Şevket. FC GG made a substitution. Orhun Umural replaced Müfit Nefer. Sercan Tümen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sercan Tümen in the 89th minute of play forced FC GG's goalkeeper Selçuk Tekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Oğuz Seferoğlulları received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Selçuk Tekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güngören's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
