In the 6th match minute, Mezarlikbasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baybars Özengin to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Aykut Kolçak from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Hamdullah Şiraz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Atıf Öztek's late challenge caught a SeMMuR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atıf Öztek helped the player get up and apologised. Aykut Kolçak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdullah Şiraz having to interfere. Enes Parshan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Mevlüt Esenboğa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emirhan Beksan fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SeMMuR FC's protests and gave Emirhan Beksan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SeMMuR FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Emirhan Beksan hit a great ball. When Mezarlikbasi's Mevlüt Esenboğa in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SeMMuR FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute, Mansur Yorgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mezarlikbasi booed when SeMMuR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uluç Aynacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mezarlikbasi's zone, Aykut Kolçak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamdullah Şiraz came out of the goal and Aykut Kolçak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SeMMuR FC's Gökmen Huzur got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gökçek Kutluay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mansur Yorgun in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykut Kolçak in the 36th minute of play forced Mezarlikbasi's goalkeeper Hamdullah Şiraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Mansur Yorgun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gökçek Kutluay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hamdullah Şiraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulkerim Çağar, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Hamdullah Şiraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gökcan Kiray in the 45th minute. Aykut Kolçak might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamdullah Şiraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aykut Kolçak ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Mezarlikbasi defense, Gökcan Kiray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamdullah Şiraz. The Mezarlikbasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamdullah Şiraz should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mevlüt Esenboğa made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Mezarlikbasi's Atıf Öztek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gökçek Kutluay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SeMMuR FC booed when Mezarlikbasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atıf Öztek didn't get a good kick on the ball. SeMMuR FC's Gökçek Kutluay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mevlüt Esenboğa in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, SeMMuR FC's Aykut Kolçak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamdullah Şiraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. SeMMuR FC's Aykut Kolçak got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atıf Öztek got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Mezarlikbasi getting a freekick after 82 minutes play.
