Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferit Ongar started the match with the kick off. Bilgehan Karaalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferit Ongar in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Fırat Tüzün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gönen FK's Gürsel Ekemen got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferit Ülker kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Akil Özkutlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ziemowit Kaczanek. Akil Özkutlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ferit Ülker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ziemowit Kaczanek made a huge save. Oguzlar were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Gönen FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Avni Cevan took the corner. Zülfü Özsahin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Avni Cevan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Oguzlar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gönen FK:s goal. Peli Ascargorta placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Gönen FK's Ziemowit Kaczanek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Gönen FK from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Gönen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hacı Ali Tolunbay came free, but Ziemowit Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zülfü Özsahin during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zülfü Özsahin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Gürsel Ekemen came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Gönen FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürsel Ekemen couldn't finish the play. Ferit Ongar took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bilgehan Karaalp. Bilgehan Karaalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Gönen FK booed when Oguzlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akşemseddin Koyas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Peli Ascargorta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bilgehan Karaalp skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Gönen FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fırat Tüzün hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes, Oguzlar's Peker Köklem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ziemowit Kaczanek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oguzlar reached it. 69 minutes into the game, Peker Köklem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oguzlar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gönen FK the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Oguzlar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peker Köklem to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Oguzlar getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Akşemseddin Koyas hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Ferit Ongar lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Bilgehan Karaalp. In the 77th minute of the match Akşemseddin Koyas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ziemowit Kaczanek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferit Ülker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ziemowit Kaczanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zülfü Özsahin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferit Ülker in the 86th minute of play forced Gönen FK's goalkeeper Ziemowit Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gönen FK defense, Ferit Ülker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ziemowit Kaczanek. The Gönen FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ziemowit Kaczanek should have stopped the shot. If Ferit Ülker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferit Ülker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ziemowit Kaczanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bilgehan Karaalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferit Ongar in the 96th minute.
